At Whitworth Park Academy, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our curriculum is enriched with a wide range of opportunities that enable children to deepen their knowledge, develop new skills and apply their learning in real-world contexts.

- Developing scientific understanding through visits to venues such as the Centre for Life and the Discovery Museum.
- Enhancing cultural awareness through educational visits linked to Religious Education, Languages, Music and Art.
- Making connections between education and future careers through workshops, talks and question-and-answer sessions with employers and industry professionals.
We also offer a range of residential visits within the UK and abroad, providing children with opportunities to develop independence, resilience and confidence while creating lasting memories. Our programme includes ski trips, visits to Paris, outdoor education experiences and many other exciting opportunities.
Enrichment is an important part of every child’s educational experience at Whitworth Park Academy. We offer an extensive programme of extra-curricular activities across all year groups, providing clubs, activities and opportunities for children to explore their interests, develop new talents and build confidence beyond the classroom.
