At Whitworth Park Academy, we are committed to providing an education that sees children at the heart of everything that we do. Children get only one chance at secondary education and at Whitworth Park Academy we aim to make that an unforgettable experience.

We are a values driven school. Values of kindness, diligence, and respect are at the centre and focus of our daily undertakings. We believe in fostering a community where every individual is treated with kindness, works diligently towards their goals, and respects themselves and others.

We are highly motivated to meet the high expectations that we set for ourselves around our school values. We have three motivational drivers that shape our mindset: mastery, autonomy and purpose. We believe in helping our children master the knowledge, understanding, and skills they need to be academically successful. We encourage autonomy by giving children the freedom to make the right choices and take ownership of their learning. Finally, we instil a sense of purpose by helping students understand their role in developing a common purpose across our Academy community and beyond

As a parent of secondary school-aged children myself, I understand the importance of a supportive and nurturing school environment. At Whitworth Park Academy, we ensure that children have the knowledge, skills, qualifications, and experiences that allow them to have choices for their futures. We support the whole child and every child to reach and surpass their potential, ensuring they are happy, valued, supported, and successful
